About Us
The Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences was established within the scope of the law numbered 17609 dated 18.02.1982 and the 5th and 6th articles added to the law numbered 17976. The Institute started graduate education in the Fall semester of the 1984-1985 Academic Year.

MISSION
We continue our graduate studies with local, regional, national and international projects by carrying out research projects, university-public-private sector joint R&D studies in order to increase the scientific and technical capacity of our country in the development of university-industry cooperation with our graduate education programs and quotas, and to offer solutions to problems.

VISION
To provide graduate students who continue their education in the departments affiliated to our Institute with the ability to access and evaluate information by conducting scientific research, to gain the ability to interpret and reach new syntheses by examining it with an academic perspective, to support our students who may strive to prepare joint projects with the sector, to encourage interdisciplinary research, to train faculty members for other universities and highly qualified professional researchers for the society.
